To where, or not to where?

Ok, so we need to nail this one down. Where should No More Sweden 2009 take place? Since there are so many loose ends to this mess, I decided to create a simple table over the current options. You find it here:

If you have more information for the blank spots in the table, or if you have new additions, please reply to this post! Thanks!

  1. I would go with anywhere that allows someone in the US-of-A to participate — Unless I can get my mom to ship me out to a country where piracy is legal when I’m 13 =( — well actually when the event occurs, I’ll be 14…

    Money aside:

If I were to be there — I would go either Thewreck’s summer house (lol houses for the seasons =P) or where you were last year. (I did Kr-USD conversion, and it’s about 250USD. Not bad, especially since you know the conditions)

  2. Karlshamn has a sauna too ;) The privacy should be good too.

  3. I checked out a few places in Uppsala, but with the exception of hotels (= expensive) no-one was willing to host around-the-clock events of that scale. There might be smaller locales or schools willing to rent out space, but I’m not sure looking around further would be worth the effort seeing as many people were reluctant to hold NMS that far north anyway.

  4. The best place for people that come further away would probably be something near stockholm, since you can take a flight near there, and it’s the capital city anyway.

A sauna would definitely be a bonus!

  5. Hempuli: Malmö is only 25 minutes from Kastrup (Copenhagen airport), so I think that’s even better than Stockholm for international visitors.

  6. Oh jolly good.
